Resources and Advocates

There are many professional women’s organizations, nonprofits, and aid groups for women facing issues at work. Here are a few:

A nonprofit that provides information, resources, and tools to navigate and resolve workplace harassment and discrimination, including “Beemail” service, an anonymous and traceable way to alert ‘perpetrators’ of the need for behavior change.

A nonprofit that works to preserve and promote workers’ rights.

Resources include instant online chat with a lawyer to answer employment questions, and guides to rights – and what to do when your rights are violated - in categories including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and many more.

A nonprofit founded by Gretchen Carlson and Julie Roginsky to transform the American workplace, making it safer and more equitable for everyone.  Lift Our Voices has been instrumental in the passage of laws ending forced arbitration and pre-dispute non-disclosure and non-disparagement agreements.

A nonprofit dedicated to work-family justice.

Includes legal support, a workplace rights hub with information about laws by state, policy advocacy, and more for those balancing paid work with responsibilities caring for others.
